World Environment Day Workshop
5th June 2024 an Environment Day Workshop was organised by IFEA and SNS at Palladium Mall Ahmedabad. The event was hosted by
Chá, the restaurant that offers high quality light eats, like dimsums, turnip cakes, spring rolls, cheung fun, etc at Palladium Mall.
Asha Jalan showed the participants how to start composting food waste at home by mixing fruit and vegetable scraps with soil and other materials.
The Members were taught how to make Peach, Mango Bubble Tea and Butterfly Strawberry LIIT from the chefs of Cha, the dim sum restaurant.
Chef Rantu of Cha demonstrated the making of Dimsums like Truffle Edamame Dumplings, Vegetable Chive Dumplings, and Asparagus & Water Chestnut Dumpling. All participants were treated to high tea at Cha featuring Veg Sushi, Chilly Paneer, Fried Rice and a house special drink.
Seema Gupta conducted a round of housie.
A cold salad & appetisers competition was a highlight of the afternoon.
