Mogri ka churma

Ingredents:

250 gm wheat flour
175 gm organic jaggery
50 gm peanuts

For non-vegans: 50 gm ghee

Method

  1.  Sprinkle water lightly on wheat flour (this process is called mukermoi in Marwar).
  2.  Cover the flour and keep aside for an hour.
  3.  Rub that flour with bare hands and sieve it.
  4. Dry roast this sieved flour till it turns brown.
  5. Keep this aside, and in the meantime mix water and jaggery in a cup to make sugar
    syrup.
  6. Mix the sugar syrup in the flour, and it is ready to serve.

Optional: You can add 50gm ghree and 500gm peanuts fried in ghee to the mixture.
