Savour the Sweetness of Summer with Karigari’s Exclusive Mango -Themed Menu

India, June 19th, 2024: Karigari Restaurants, led by celebrity Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi is glad to introduce its latest culinary creation, ‘Aam-e-Ehsaas.’ This limited-time summer menu, available from June 16 to June 30, 2024, celebrates the beloved mango, bringing back the cherished flavours of childhood summers.

The name ‘Aam-e-Ehsaas’ perfectly represents how spellbound we are with the mango. Though it is a summer fruit, mango is much more than that; it embodies long summer vacations, family get-togethers, and the frolic sense of childhood. This menu has been carefully selected by Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi to bring back memories and the essence of the comfort food has not been lost in the process of innovation.

“Mangoes are organically linked with India and especially the summers, and it’s beautiful to capture those in our new menu. The idea is to give the guests a summer feel through the items we serve.” said Yogesh Sharma, Founder & CEO of Karigari. “It is an exciting feat to be able to introduce a mango inspired menu to the guests,” added Manish Sharma, COO at Karigari.

The new menu has names such as Mango Kasundi Paneer Tikka, a recipe where cottage cheese is marinated with Kasundi mustard and some mango puree, presented with taste of Andhra aam papad, which goes for a grilling. Alternatively, try the Hyderabadi Kacchi Kairi Ki Khatti Dal, which lends a quirky take to the traditional yellow lentils with the added accompaniment of kacchi kairi (raw mango), and concludes with a tadka of crushed curry leaves, portions of crushed mustard seeds, and burnt garlic. As a last course for sweet lovers, there is the highlight of the meal- the Alphonso Bhapa Doi which is a flavoured baked non-dairy cheesecake with Alphonso mango puree, inspired from Bengali dessert – Bhapa Doi.

Accompanying these dishes are two beverages that are also traditional in this region. Mango Plucker Cocktail is a mix of tequila, fresh mango, lime and peach syrup with a hint of spicy jalapeno for the perfect al fresco tipple. For a non- alcoholic drink, there is Mango Pulp Mocktail that consists of raw mango pulp, mint leaves, lime juice, and soda that is quite refreshing for the summer season.

This new menu called ‘Aam-e-Ehsaas’ is available in all their 10 Karigari Restaurants until the stocks run out. Karigari Restaurants has 10 outlets located in Civil Lines, Punjabi Bagh, Karkarduma, Faridabad, Noida Sec 51, Noida Sec 142, Gurgaon, Dehradun, Bangalore, and Indore. It is also recommended to touch, taste, see and enjoy the mango flavour that has been portrayed in this mouth-watering dish.
