COOKING WORKSHOP & COMPETITION AT PRIDE PLAZA, 9TH SEPTEMBER 2022
The Cooking Workshop and Competition was organised by IFEA and SNS Cooking Classes at Pride Plaza. The event was sponsored by Manpras Spices.
The event included the following:
* A Grazing Buffet for Parties
If you have guests coming over during the festive period, one of the most exciting ideas is to put together a grazing table with bread, cheese, dips, fruit and vegetables laid out to create a very colourful and multi-textured feast for the eyes and taste buds.
During this workshop by Chef Sabyasachi Nag, Executive Chef, Pride Plaza, the chef showed the ladies how to put together platters, trays or buffet tables.
* Zero-Waste Cooking
Drawing from the Traditions of West Bengali Cooking, Chef Sabyasachi Nag, Executive Chef, Pride Plaza, taught the use of peels, scraps and stalks in cooking vegetable curries as also whole fish cooking.
* Kebabs and Starters Competition
During this competition, the contestants put forward their best starters from finger foods and kebabs to salads and finger sandwiches.
