1. Your favourite cuisine?
Italian and North Indian
2. Your favourite dish at home?
A Salad – Brocolli, red bell peppers, green bell peppers, pineapple, apple with French dressing
3. Which cities in India and/ or abroad would you rate as best for foodies?
Amritsar- For authentic kulchas. In winter I love a platter of makki ki roti and sarson ka saag in Amritsar.
Haryana- Bajre ki roti, maa ki dal (Especially in the villages)
Dubai for shawarma Bangkok and Thailand for Thai salads.
4. If you had a choice of starting a restaurant in any city which would these cities be?
I will start in Ahmedabad- My karmabhumi, a restaurant of barbeque and grill because Ahmedabad diners love live cooking stations.
5. Your most memorable meal ?
I had Matki ke mutton in a Haryanvi village, with seekh kebab, eggs and tandoori rotis as accompaniment. Unforgettable flavours!
6. How would you celebrate a Romantic meal with your spouse?
My wife loves grilled fish, I will cook that for her. we will go in some village area in the outskirts of the city for picnic. Since she has a sweet tooth, I willi make hot jalebis for dessert.
7. If you were told you could plan your last meal what would it be like, what kind of setting and whom would you invite?
Visit Ambaji temple and eat pure vegetarian food with my family and friends.
